Non Destructive Root Investigation (NDRI)

Non-Destructive Root Investigation is exactly as the title describes. In most cases this is generally conducted for developments whose designs may conflict with trees subjected for retention. The aim of conducting a root investigation is to determine if in fact roots are present, and if so, how many & how big are these roots. By investigating the roots this can determine how the tree will be impacted and if the tree will remain a viable landscape component.

Tree roots are unfortunately sometimes overlooked when it comes to construction resulting in reduction of tree health & in some cases may be damaged so severe, they may become unstable & require removal.

Howell Arboriculture Consultants can undertake your root investigation and determine how your tree will be impacted. All findings are then compiled within a brief arborist report along with photographic evidence.
