The larvae damage the tree by feeding on the leaf which is return disrupts the trees' ability to achieve photosynthesis. 

Howell Arboriculture Consultants are able to swiftly to treat this pest through the process of micro injection which is undertaken by directly injecting a chemical into the trees sapwood where it is then actively translocated towards the leaves. This treatment is fast & efficient and can be applied all year round. Applying directly within the tree's trunk also reduces any nasty run off of unwanted chemical.
